EasyPad

EasyPad

A notepad for iPhone, iPad and Mac that looks like one. Every pad has its own paper and as many pages as you need, and iCloud keeps them the same on all your devices.

My pads aren’t showing up on my other device

iCloud is switched on and off separately on each device. On every device you want your pads on, open Settings in EasyPad and turn on Use iCloud on this iPhone (or iPad, or Mac), and make sure each one is signed in to the same Apple Account. A new device can take a while to catch up. Sync Health, in the same place, shows what syncing has happened on that device.

I edited a pad on two devices and something’s missing

If two devices change the same pad before they’ve caught up with each other, one version wins and the other isn’t thrown away. Pages it added are merged back in, and pages it changed are kept in Recovered Notes in Settings. You can read them there and restore any of them as a new pad.

I forgot the passphrase for a backup

Then that backup can’t be opened. The passphrase is the only key to it. We don’t keep a copy, and there’s no way to reset it. Your notes are still in EasyPad on your devices, though, so you can export a new backup with a passphrase you’ll remember.

I bought the unlock and it isn’t showing on another device

One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac on the same Apple Account. Choose one of the locked papers to open the purchase screen, then tap Restore Purchases.

The widget is showing an old version of a note

A widget shows what EasyPad last saw on the device it’s on. It catches up when you open EasyPad on that device; iCloud doesn’t wake it on its own. When its copy is no longer fresh, the widget says what time it’s from.

App Lock won’t accept my face or fingerprint

Use your device passcode or your EasyPad passcode instead. Failed attempts never delete anything. Your pads are still there when you get in.

Email and a person will write back. Our privacy policy covers EasyPad too.
